About

Sisters Jen Junkermeier and Megan Neal began Bluebird Lane as a labor of love that combines their entrepreneurial spirit and creative energies. Both ladies have spent countless hours clipping and pasting, preserving life’s lovely memories in carefully pieced together scrapbooks. (…indeed it’s not just a hobby, it’s an addiction!)

Located just a few miles to the south of the bustling Tulsa suburbs of Jenks and Bixby, Bluebird Lane is a clean, modern facility that offers guests the comforts of a boutique hotel along with all the amenities that scrapbookers, quilters, and all craft lovers desire. Each guest will have their own bed with fresh linens, complimentary drinks and snacks from the fully stocked fridge and pantry, and most importantly, a six-foot worktable with a well-cushioned rolling chair in one of the two large craft rooms.

Jen and Megan want each guest to have their own individual space while still maintaining a fun, group atmosphere. With over 3,000 square feet of dining, crafting and sleeping space inside and five acres of beautiful land outside, Bluebird Lane has it all! Large decks allow for relaxing moments in nature while large shopping centers and restaurants are just a short fifteen minute drive up the road. Whatever your crafting hobby is, you will not find a cleaner, more accommodating place to spend a weekend. So come on down, and bring your friends. We’ve got a spot saved for you at Bluebird Lane!

A Family Affair

Megan Neal
Megan caught the creative bug very early in life, and carried her artistic vision into the horticulture program at Oklahoma State University. As an Oklahoma Certified Florist, she spent a decade working as a floral designer for two of the most elite flower boutiques in Tulsa. Along the way, Megan also developed a love for the art of scrapbooking; lovingly (and a bit obsessively) clipping, gluing and preserving all the treasured moments of her family life. Megan and her husband Edward stay very busy with son Garrison and daughter Nona. With her kiddos in tow, Megan now focuses full-time on making Bluebird Lane the most cozy and welcoming home for scrapbookers, quilters and crafters of all types.

Jen Junkermeier
Megan’s older sister Jennifer is the other half of Bluebird Lane’s founding duo. Also a graduate of Oklahoma State University, Jennifer balances her Treasury position in the energy industry with a passion for family, travel, music and scrapping. She and her husband John have a lively home always filled with the laughter of their children Jack and Lyla. Like her little sister, Jennifer works tirelessly to ensure Bluebird Lane is the kind of relaxing and creatively inspiring retreat that guests have come to know and love.
